Sometimes my sister drives me crazy. You see, we just celebrated her young son’s fourth birthday. And I, being a great uncle, went and found some wonderful safari bedding for boys set for him. Me and him always talk about animals. And I in the past have bought him a number of books on mammals and reptiles. So I thought it was safe to buy him a boys bedding set of a similar design. But my sister saw it and she became very unhappy. My sister adheres to a strict vegetarian lifestyle. And she thinks that even having animals on her son’s spreadsheets, would affect his view on their diet.

I said it was no big deal, I can easily go back to the store. So I did that and picked out a different set of boys bedding. This time I opted for a very nice set of boys cowboy bedding. I figure every kid in this world would enjoy having cowboys in the room. After I give it back to my sister, she once again disapprove of my choice of bedding. She said that cowboys use guns and that they promote violence. And she does not want that part to be her sons upbringing.

So back to the store I went. This time I came back with some boys pirates bedding. I thought Pirates are pretty safe. But once again she tells me that pirates is a promotion of violence and also steal things from others. And to that I really cannot disagree. So next time I am just going to give him a gift card.
