A serious negative for some people, though, is the cost factor. With the average cost being between 8k-55k, this is too much for the average American. The thing that is so shocking is that it can run even higher than that.

How then, do homemade solar panels compare with solar panel kits? If you think of homemade solar panels being solar panels made from scratch, you are right on. Not as easy as an IKEA bookshelf, but close!

One of the terrific advantages of homemade solar panels is the cost factor, being that you can get started on a shoe string budget. Most people are able to get their project up and running, and a few things running on solar power for under $200. If you could power something such as an RV and workshop for under $50, would that feel like success? I know of one fella who did just that. Pretty amazing, eh?

Although homemade solar panels can be a lot cheaper than solar panel kits currently on the market, it is of utmost importanCE that you have the right knowledge in how to proceed.
